  • Frame. is a social cycling club based in the heart of Rotterdam, where riding together comes first. Every Sunday, we explore scenic routes of around 50 km, enjoying the ride, the company, and the coffee stops along the way.

    Our community is truly international, with members from all over the world, so English is our common language. Frame. is more than just cycling; it’s a place to connect, share your passion, and push yourself alongside fellow riders of all levels, without any pressure to perform. Whether you’re chasing personal goals, discovering new routes, or just want to enjoy a Sunday ride with friends, Frame. is the place to be.

  • Yes, cycling with a frame is generally safe when done correctly and responsibly.

    To ensure everyone’s safety, please note the following guidelines:

    • Participation is always at your own risk.

    • We are not liable for any damage or injury to yourself, your bike, or others.

    • Make sure your bike and frame are properly installed and in good condition before the ride.

    • Always follow traffic rules and local regulations.

    • For group rides, we kindly ask listening to and following the instructions of our ride captains at all times.

    By joining the ride, you acknowledge these guidelines and accept personal responsibility for your safety.

  • We ride every Sunday at 10:00*, starting from Vasteland 2, Rotterdam, next to the Marathon statue. We gather at 9:45 to get ready and roll out on time. Check our Strava events for the latest updates.

    By default, we ride every Sunday. Rides may be canceled in case of heavy rain or unsafe conditions. Always check the Strava event before joining to confirm the ride is happening.

  • Our default rides are ~50 km, with the route designed to start and finish near our meeting point. Longer rides or challenges (100 km+) may occasionally be planned.

  • Routes, including GPX files, are shared in our WhatsApp group before each ride.

    • Helmet: mandatory.

    • Pedals & cleats: strongly recommended.

    • Bike: road or gravel bikes are ideal; city bikes are not suitable for our pace and routes.

    • Clothing: dress for the weather and ride comfortably.

  • Travel light. Bring your own water and snacks. We do not provide fuel for the ride.

  • No, we recommend carrying only what you need on the ride.

  • We ride on public roads, so standard traffic rules apply: stop at red lights, signal when turning, and always ride predictably. Safety first!

    We’ll ask if you’ve ridden in a cycling group before. If not, we’ll explain the group rules to make sure everyone rides safely together.

  • Our rides average ~25 km/h, suitable for anyone with some cycling experience. If you struggle to keep up due to circumstances, you won’t be left behind, we ride together, no stress.
